Petals & Pearls began with a feeling I think so many of us know. The need to slow down, switch off and do something that feels joyful again. Something different. Something creative, social and meaningful, not just another dinner or night out.

Like many of us living and working in London, I know how easy it is for life to feel busy and for weekends to pass by in the blink of an eye without feeling like you have fully rested and reset. Between work, responsibilities at home, life admin and squeezed-in catch-ups with friends, it can be difficult to find time to properly pause and be present with the people we love.

I think that is why the idea behind Petals & Pearls stayed with me for so long. It came from wanting to create more of those meaningful moments that help you feel a little more like yourself again.

Then came the Taylor Swift Eras Tour….

Don’t get me wrong, the concert itself was life-changing. The music, the production, the costumes, seeing Taylor herself. Iconic. But on top of that, making friendship bracelets with my family and friends in the lead-up to the concert felt so wonderful.

There was something really special about choosing the beads, planning the designs, dropping beads everywhere, messing up and starting again, then laughing about it together. It was simple, gentle, creative and full of joy. Combining proper time together with something hands-on and artsy really filled up my cup, and that feeling stayed with me long after the concert ended.

Eventually, I started imagining a space in London where that feeling could live all year round. A creative little escape from busy daily life. Somewhere people could have fun, connect and spend quality time together while making something beautiful.

That idea became Petals & Pearls.

Petals & Pearls is a jewellery-making experience designed to feel calm, cosy and welcoming. Whether you are creating a bracelet, necklace or bag charm, the focus is not just on what you make, but on how the experience makes you feel.

Each workshop is designed to give you time to slow down, choose your beads, chat, laugh, create and enjoy the process. You do not need any jewellery-making experience, just a little curiosity and a willingness to get creative.

My hope is that Petals & Pearls becomes more than a workshop. I hope it feels like a small pocket of joy in the middle of busy life. A place to celebrate birthdays, hen dos, team socials, friendships, family moments or simply a day out doing something creative.

Most of all, I hope you have the best time creating with us, and that you leave feeling a little lighter and brighter than when you arrived.
